DIB was engaged by Hume Anglican as they were interested in upgrading the technology within three of their classrooms. By refreshing the AV systems within these rooms, the new technology can be used to provide a more engaging learning experience.
Installation process
All three of the classrooms saw the installation of a 65″ Hitachi Interactive LED panel. With its ten points of touch capability, multiple students can interact with the panel at any one time, which can make for a new and exciting lesson. The monitor’s anti-glare screen further ensures that the clarity of the display is reduced. The panel also features two, front-facing 15W speakers that can easily fill the classroom with audio.
Underneath the touchscreen, a wall panel with a HDMI, VGA, Audio and USB made for interactive features (such as saving notes from the monitor to the USB) inputs was fitted. These inputs provide a wide range of ways for users to connect their external devices or their audio players.
For another layer of simplicity, a JED (T430) wall control panel was installed in both rooms. This panel makes the system simpler to use as it isolates important features from the system (in this case, turning the system on and off and source selection) and makes them easily accessible, controlled with a touch of a button.
