John Monash Science School is one of only three specialist science schools in Australia. As such, they wanted the latest that AV technology could provide. In a recent AV upgrade they called on the expertise and services of DIB Audio Visual, to assist with the works. They opted to install the MeetingMate series of projectors into 10 of their classrooms.

After lots of consultation with our Solutions Consultant, Gabi, the school was able to determine the exact needs they required as part of these classrooms. High quality installations were completed which included the Epson EB-1430Wi projector, which include a unique “whiteboard mode”, allowing staff to record up to 50 pages of notes from a lesson, unique USB save functionality. Providing sound for the AV system was a pair of high quality 30w Epson speakers. Connectivity was via HDMI connectivity and USB input given for the interactive component of the projector. iPod / MP3 3.5mm audio direct speaker connection was also part of the AV install, allowing easy playback of audio files, without the need of turning on the projector.
Once installed, staff training sessions were conducted to make that sure optimal utilisation of the AV systems would occur. This is a service provided to assist schools with maximising the potential from their AV system in the teaching and learning process.
