Hume Anglican Grammar gets the modern touch

Hume Anglican Grammar is an Anglican Diocesan school that offers their local community affordable, high-quality, independent co-education, from Prep to Year 12, in a caring and inclusive Christian environment.

As part of their commitment to high-quality education, Hume Anglican Grammar reached out to us to update their classrooms with the latest Hitachi multi-touch LED panels.

These touchscreens offer a new layer of educational immersion in the classroom, making for a more natural relationship between teacher, students, and education material.

The Hitachi 65″ Multi-touch Panel

The Hitachi Interactive Touchscreens are a natural way to navigate a screen, especially when presenting to a class of eager students.

The infrared sensor screen can register up to 10 points of touch simultaneously for busy navigation through lessons or for many curious fingers to probe through educational material.

Magnetic stylus pens allow you to turn this bright screen into your traditional whiteboard. You can start from a blank screen or pull out one of the stylus pens at any time during a lesson and overlay the screen with further detail.

The front facing USB and HDMI ports make for easy access. Add new material from a USB drive or plug in your computer and share the display with the class from your desk.

Using the Hitachi in Hume Anglican Grammar

These Hitachi Touchscreens are going into a new suite of classes just built by Hume Anglican Grammar. 6 new classrooms and a new open learning area will give students the full multimedia experience wherever they are and however they choose to learn.

The crisp displays of the screens command attention, even from the most disruptive class. The bright display is coupled with vibrant sound from the built-in speakers, making for the full audio-visual experience.

You would think that being a touch screen means the Hitachi is primarily a visual tool, not so. All the screens come with built-in 20-watt speakers so audio is rich enough for students that learn better by sound than sight.
