Bundoora SC was looking to expand on the use cases of its gym, turning it into a presentation space as much as a workout area.
The AV upgrades for Bundoora SC’s gym had to work around its original design as a fitness space. Speakers, screens and projectors had to be secured and protected in the event any stray sports equipment went flying its way.
The large drop down screen
The new screen in the Bundoora SC gym only drops down when you need it. The rest of the time it’s safely secure up in its housing. Students don’t need to worry about hitting the screen with balls and damaging it when using the gym for sport.
The new projector, complete with ball cage
The gym also had a new projector installed, the Epson Z11000, with a middle throw lens for perfect picture quality.
The ball cage was a job specific design made to work with the bracketing and housing. The projetor fits snugly in the ball cage to keep safe from any impacts while maintaining perfect picture quality and alignment.
Simplicity of use with the Joey 6 micro controller
The screen and projector are easy to use with the accompanying Joey 6 micro controller next to the white board in the gym.
The discreet but easy access makes it simple for teachers to use the projector while still being able to see the image on screen.
HDMI ad other connectors are placed in the same housing as the controller so teachers can plug their devices in at the same point where they use the projector.
Again, the controls are kept safe in their own housing to protect against balls and sports equipment.
