Balwyn Primary School, located in the leafy Victorian suburb of Balwyn caters for students from kindergarten to Year 6. Balwyn Primary School approached the team at DIB Australia to come up with a technology solution for two of their classrooms.
The DIB team in consultation with Balwyn Primary School constructed a technology solution to update the classrooms and give the teachers and students dynamic educational technology possibilities. The team installed an EPSON EB-595Wi WXGA 3,300 ANSI Interactive Finger Touch Projector. The EPSON EB-595Wi turns the projector surface into an interactive whiteboard, capable of being controlled by finger touch or via specialty pen. The project boasts 3,300 lumens of brightness so that the images produced are vibrant, colourful and engaging. This is important for young children as images and kinesthetic learning with interaction helps build vivid and positive educational memories. The DIB team also installed a Vitreous Enamel 1.2 x 2.4m Whiteboard for a crisp new surface so that the projector image is enhanced further.

In order to increase the connectivity of the projector a USB, HDMI, VGA and Audio wall inputs were installed. These connectivity points help interact with the projector and provide suitable connectivity points for teachers and students using personal devices.
