Installation process

An EPSON EB-2265WU Installation Projector was installed in the Thomas Rossell room. With 5,500 ANSI lumens of brightness and WUXGA (1920×1080) full HD resolution, this projector produces high-quality, ultra-bright images, which is essential for larger rooms and halls. The projector also features WiDi, or wireless display, which allows users to connect their laptops or other devices to the projector without using any cables. The projector’s automatic set up and focus help also reduce any hassle when setting up the system, meaning users can get straight on with the event or function rather than wasting time dealing with technology. A motorised Grandview screen was also installed for use alongside the projector.

As another wireless means of connecting one’s device, DIB installed a Barco Clickshare CS-100. This wireless presentation system allows users to quickly and easily share content on their laptop or mobile device on the designated screen. The system was placed inside of an AV rack.

DIB also installed new lectern equipment for better audio production. This involved a Wireless Lectern Microphone input system, a handheld Sennheiser G3 microphone system and matching headset, as well as a Beyerdynamic gooseneck microphone. A 3.5mm socket was also fitted so users can directly connect their audio device to the speaker, even if the projector system is off.

To make the audio system easier to control, an AM ICON control panel was fitted. These panels provide a simplified audio control experience, as they only give users access to the audio settings they need to modify everyday. Further, an existing JED wall control panel was re-programmed so us to suit the new features of the system.
