Williams Landing takes its name from the historic aviation base on which it is located, RAAF Williams airfield. It’s named after Air Marshal Sir Richard Williams, the man many regard as the ‘father’ of the Royal Australian Air Force.
And what better place to find out great facts like this than the Wyndham Council Library at Williams Landing?
A library which we recently lifted a little with the installation of a street-facing digital sign and an AV system.
The AV digital display was a no-touch Samsung QET Series 82″ 4K UHD 16/7 Commercial Digital
Display. We coupled this with a Logitech All in One Conference Cam.
Whilst the street sign was a Philips – High Brightness 55″ HD Commercial display.
Whilst Google may have a lot of answers and facts for us, there really is something about visiting a library and the feel of leafing through a book to find what you are looking for. After all
touch and texture are part of our senses and any learning experience can be made better by
making the most of as many senses as possible.
The team at DIB Audiovisual also added in some custom work on this job in the form of a CUSTOM Perforated metal rear shroud system w/ Ultralift custom portrait pole. The purpose of this screen is to hide cabling and fixing.
We are sure thousands of visitors to the library will find what they are looking for, and welcome the opportunity to work on your upcoming projects.
