Foundation House provides services to aid people in Victoria who have experienced torture or other traumatic events in their country of origin or while fleeing those countries. Foundation House’s aim is to improve the health, well being and rights of people of refugee backgrounds in Victoria. They have been in operation since 1987 and provide an imperative service to improve the lives of Victorians in need. Foundation House has several branches throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria such as Brunswick, Ringwood, Sunshine, Ballarat to name a few.
In order to continue educating and supporting Victorians who have experienced trauma, they sought to create a new office in their Dallas branch. As a result, they needed to create an audio visual solution for the office to equip the center with the right technology to engage visitors. To do this, Foundation House engaged DIB Audio Visual to create a customised tech solution.
Installation process
The EPSON EB-1970W 5000 ANSI WXGA Installation Projector was selected for the office as it is a premier projector providing high quality, beautiful images. The Projector has outstanding features such as 5,000 ANSI Lumens of brightness and WXGA widescreen resolution. It has broad connectivity and is compatible with HDMI, USB, VGA and wireless.
EPSON EB-1970W
A Motorised Grandview 120″ Smartscreen Projector Screen was also installed in the Dallas Office. This motorised, retractable screen is handy as the screen is easily available when you need it and able to be retracted so that the room can be used in a flexible way.
Additionally, two Kramer 30W 2-way speakers were installed by DIB to accompany the high quality visuals produced by the EPSON EB-1970W. These speakers have great projection and fill the office with crisp, clear sound.

The DIB team also installed a VGA, Audio and HDMI input plate to connect to the system. A JED (T460) four button LCD wall control panel was also installed in order to easily control the whole audio visual office system.
