Hume Anglican Grammar is a co-educational school for Prep to Year 12 students that prides itself on their innovative approach to teaching and learning. To support staff members and supplement the learning of the students, the school avidly upgrades the technology in each classroom to ensure that they are always up-to-date and efficient.
Thus, DIB was engaged by Hume Anglican in order to upgrade the audiovisual systems in two of their classrooms.
Installation process
In both classrooms, an Epson EB-685W was installed. This projector, with its 3,500 ANSI lumens of brightness output, produces ultra bright, ultra vibrant images that stand out regardless of the space’s lighting conditions. This means that any content can be easily read in any environment. This is furthered by the projector’s ultra short nature, which reduce the possibility of shadows or glare that could obscure the images. To support the projector’s 16W in-built speakers, DIB installed an Epson 30 watt speaker system. Featuring two 15 watt speakers, these speakers can carry audio throughout the entire space.

For simplicity of use, a JED (T430) two button control panel was installed. This panel simplifies the operation of the new system system by including buttons to control the most important features. This includes: turning the system and off, and selecting which source to display on the projector.

This new system features a wide range of connectivity options. From the projector, users can make the most of the projector’s advanced networking capabilities, allowing for wireless display, as well as broad connectivity, allowing for more local connections via HDMI and USB inputs.
DIB further fitted a VGA/Audio input plate and a HDMI input plate. These offer a more accessible way of connecting a laptop device to the projector.
